Yes, I know this is not exactly about school, but people deserve to know about this:
So, my best friend shared this link with me not that long ago about a horrible man named Joseph Kony. He is in charge of a rebel group in Uganda that has been abducting children to use in his army because of a loss of troops. The boys are given a gun and sent to kill their parents and other innocent people while the girls are put into sexual slavery. The organization Invisible Children has been trying to arrest this man for 8 years and finally have the American government on their side. We sent 100 special forces to South Africa to aide the troops there but if Kony is not found by December 31st, 2012, the war is over. It is almost a guarantee that our troops will be brought home with Kony still in operation if he is not found soon. Raise awareness of this man to make him famous so that he will be easier found and a better example to other potential terrorists! This video explains more in depth the entire situation:
